Hi All,

Anyone here ever been to Magalluf? Does it deserve the reputation it has or what's it really like?

I'm going there on the 15th June for 5 days on a Stag.

Is it just a drinking/party town, or are there other things a Stag group could do - paintballing, go-karting etc.

What is the guy to girl ratio like

I went there years ago, it is known by another name. A play on words, that I won't say on a family forum such as this.

If I remember rightly, there is a kart racing track not too far from the main action, and I think there is an aqua park too. There is (or used to be) BCM's nightclub. It's massive, and usually you get in for free, if you tap up some of the people giving away tickets on the strip outside the club. The club is about 3 or 4 floors, someone told me years ago, it was the biggest (at that time) nightclub in europe.

Oh and be careful with some of the girls there, they tap you up in bars. Promise to meet you in certain clubs, and give you free tickets to get you in there. My mate was so convinced he had pulled, when we got in the club, she was snogging some blokes face off at the bar. She looked over at us, and burst out laughing. So did I, my mates face was a picture, what a gullible prat he was.

I've heard the other name for it

Have heard of BCM as well, apparently the apartments where we are staying are near it.

Go-Karting and Aqua park sound good give us a break from the beer and strippers...

Just a word of warning though. If you go to the aqua park, they have 2 huge water slides you can go down. Whatever you do, heed the warning at the top, about lying flat when you go down them. I didn't, and hovered about 3 feet above the slide when going down it. Panic set in, and was eventually able to get myself down flat again and enjoy the rest of the ride.

Moral of the story - Don't get bladdered before you go on the slides, it tends to give you a severe case of dutch courage.

Seeing the Hotel & Stuff I did.

That Nightclub is where Geri (Spice) started out.

Suncream! Knew I was forgetting something.

As long as there is plenty of girls we'll be happy. Mate went to Ibiza last year, he said there was about 15 guys to every girl.
