My eyes are killing.

Since Sunday my eyes have been killing me all my vision is blurred, yesterday I rinsed them out with Optrex Jesus did it make my eyes sting? Since yesterday my vision has got worse it's really worrying me, I've got my glasses on but they are not making any difference.

Was welding at work last Thursday but I had the face mask on, welding flashes usually kick in within 2 hours.

Re: My eyes are killing.

Go to the Dr's / Opticians.... Don't wait if there is a major problem you should get it looked at sooner rather than later.

It's not worh risking you're eyesight. and days can count.

It's not conjunctavitus because there's no puss coming out of them plus they aren't swollen. I've never suffered from hayfever.

Go to the optician. They should see you, and if they can't help should be able to jump the q for the dr's.... Personally after the crap I've had with my eyes i'd even go to casualty and get them to look if the gp's don't want to play ball.

I can't even read text messages on my phone (With my glasses) now. I have to use a big chunky magnifying glass.....

But it could be worse

hayfever can actually start anytime in your life. you don't have to have always or ever suffered from it for it to start.

Re: My eyes are killing.

do you wear contact lenses? Bausch and lomb have withdrawn their lens fluid - called renu moisture loc or summat. Apparently it can cause infections etc. I'm waiting for my opticians to send me a replacement bottle of fluid... story here:

The absence of pus does not exclude Conjunctivitis, most conjunctival infections are actually virual and they tend to make your eyes red and watery. They may stick the eyelids together which you will notice when you wake.

Any sudden loss of vision needs to be investigated as soon as possible.

My advice would be to go to an Optician or your local A&E who may have an eye A&E clinic too.

Let us know...
