Ebay collection miles away !!!

Hi all

Well my mother in law just brought a cooker on ebay and asked if I could collect it !!!! Guess where ..........in Durham and I live in Oxford (500 miles round trip)

Any ideas if carrier companies exist who would collect this and then deliver it to Oxford ????

Save me a whole day

give UPS a call. they can arrange pickup/delivery but not sure how much it will cost you.

You might find a white van man advertising in your local rag who would do the job. But as TBR says, it's going to cost, however you do it.

and feal the wrath of both mother and daughter.... go on be a bugger and say NO, go on do it..

You can often get a pallet picked up and delivered for around ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£60, it may be worth investigating that idea.

I had a price when buying a tool and cutter grinder off ebay last year, the item was with an engineering company and thats what he quoted me for it to be delivered on a pallet from Birmingham to South Wales.

(It weighs approx 250Kg)

They will give you comparitives between various couriers/delivery services, including ParcelForce; what's more, they are much cheaper than going direct.
