Phone call from an odd number...
Hi,

I've just had a call on my mobile from this number +*099805692
I didn't answer it as it seemed a bit of an odd number and possibly a scam.

Anyone have any idea on where this number might originate? Could it be a number from abroad? I've googled it but found nothing so if it is a scam, it doesnt appear to be publicly known as yet.

That dialling prefix appears to be South Africa, possibly Nigeria

they have probably found out that you have inherited an oil well from a long lost relative - but need a couple of grand to tide them over while they take care of the admin issues
