Anyone know much about fruit machines? (troubleshooting)

We managed to get a hold of a fruit machine, semi new

Problem is, we can't get it going, heh

Plug it in, the red light on the switch comes on, as do the tiny bulbs (leds) on the reels, but the machine itself doesn't start up
I'm guessing it's a fuse or something blown, or maybe the circuit board?

i have never had one or about them but this is what i know from working in a pub and turning them on .
do you have the keys , some times they need to be opend then closed when you have moved them .
or maybe one of the reels are not set up right .

when you turn it on
(a) the lights come on
(B) the reels move
(c) the sound comes on .

then you can play .
hope this helps you out .
ps i think they cost a lot to get fixed :~(

I bet something like this would need a security 'dongle' to work - is/are there any empty socket(s) on the circuit board?

Make sure all the connectors are securly in place.
