Very sad, but its better to damage the car than the man,
at the end of the day, he shouldnt have been moved until the emergency services had arrived and accessed his injurys.
Reminds me of when I had my accident, the fire brigade said they would have to cut me out due to my injuries, I ended up arguing with them cos I was adamant they weren't I think where there may be potentially life-threatening injuries they take the most direct course of action so if it means the roof coming off, then so be it I was NOT impressed with the state of my car, I'd always wanted a convertible but not a fire brigade modded one
