Re: hair care and style
I used to mess about with my hair, then I got past 30 and realised that I couldn't be bothered

Re: hair care and style
Well you could do what I did and just grow your hair past shoulder length and then use a clip to put it up.This means I just wash, condition and leave it to dry naturally.Still got a good head of hair at 53.
Mind I'm not sure how many blokes want to do that.

Best style IMHO.
Easy to deal with after a shower/swimming/rain and doesn't get grungy quite so quickly, if you end up getting up in a hurry. lol
Hair of any significant length can't be gelled - as you've discovered. At that point you're looking at a perm, or styled waves held in place with hair spray.
I have no idea who the fella you mention is, but looking at most long-haired male celebs, they mostly look 'untidy' at best.

LMAO!!
With a style like that, which is very trendy nowadays, you want a 'just got out of bed' look.
All you need to do is wash it, turn your head upside down whilst still damp, and gave it a shake with your fingers. Apply some of the Tigi Bedhead range and you're sorted! You can get it cheaper than that at the supermarket though, and you only need to use a tiny bit.
Will last all day and if you get it right, looks quite sexy

Re: hair care and style
Think of all the time in your life you'll waste by styling it, washing it, waiting in the queue at the hairdressers, and think of all the cash you'll waste along the way.....

Wise words indeed...
Can you imagine some people would spend a small fortune on getting it back? The mind boggles Mind you, you might get a television appearance out of it...

And some people on the tv programme will spend upward of 5 grand, whilst others (notably ones from Wales) spend bugger all - apart from a set of electric clippers every few years

It wasn't about what people do to prevent bladness, it's about how people deal with it - and yes, that was the 'thrust' of it, but they wanted me to look as if I'd tried something so they gave me this dodgy tin of spray-on hair and talk as if I've been using it for years
In the end they had me as the guy who says "just grin and bear it".
