Creatine advice

I'm about 2 months in to my workout training and I haven't keeled over and passed out - yet! I've decided to use creatine as a suppliment and was looking around online for definitive answers on it - and found this site which I think would help anyone considering using it.

Re: Creatine advice

Is there a reason you feel the need to use a supplement? Is your workout routine not working the way you want it to or are you looking for a shortcut?

Re: Creatine advice

slippery slope, in my opinion, next stop the steroids.

Sorry Russ, but I'm sure you can get adequately 'pumped up' without using supplements

It's quite common for people who want to lose weight or gain muscle to use suppliments

Re: Creatine advice

I used to take Creatine powder 3 or so years ago.

It doesn't do any harm, and won't lead anybody to steroids (unless they're that way inclined anyway).

I found it made an improvement to my training - whether this was a placebo effect or not, I don't know! I'm sure the increased toilet usage wasn't a placebo effect though (number 1's only!).

Use the powder rather than the serum, and take plenty of protein supplements before and after. Also stick to your training programme harder than I did! I didn't experience it, but my brother claimed to put on weight when taking creatine (not muscle, just generally!).

Good luck!

James

Behave Russ, just eat proper and work out sensible.
Why do you want or need suppliments?
How would Afan FM go on with a Hyper DJ ?

Scrub the DJ bit,

I want them because they'll help me reach my goal. I'd never use anything harmful or illegal. Creatine is totally natural, 100% legal and is used by most people wanting to build muscle - I really can't see what all the fuss is about.

Re: Creatine advice

If I thought that really was the case then I'd eat my Y fronts

Not as a suppliment of course. I'd only end up on the anabolic underpants.....
