Black tea Ran out of milk. Not sure how I'm going to get through the morning without a cuppa. Supermarket is miles away - quite a trek. Might track down my mate - cadge a lift.

Re: The what are you drinking now thread
Yeah - shut at 22:00 though, and it means venturing into the dodgy (well, more dodgy) part of the area. It says "semi-skimmed" on the pint plastic cartons, and it has a green top, but the stuff inside is not semi-skimmed. Not exactly full fat neither. Sort of leaves slime on the insides of the cup, and skims over when left to stand for any time.
Probably Yak milk

I thought that you meant that you were going to go to the supermarket in the morning, not now

Re: The what are you drinking now thread
Ah. Well I am, but if I wanted a cuppa, say, at 21:00 or even 09:00, it would mean a journey into the badlands for a pint of Yak. Or the probably two to three mile journey to Sainsbury's. We did have a local Kwik Save but it shutdown

Did you really want a cuppa at 21:00 though?
If your corner shop isn't open at 09:00, it is a crap shop...

Re: The what are you drinking now thread
GC: do what I do, next time you go to the supermarket to get non-Yak, get some of the powdered variety as well. Keeps for ages, & you can either just add the recommended amount to a cuppa, or make up a pint if you want for cereal or whatever. Not the same as the regular stuff, but tolerable. Very useful when you don't feel like going out just for the sake of moo-juice.
BTW, to anyone else who likes Coffee Mate in coffee instead of milk, I wouldn't advise trying it in tea. Whilst nice in coffee, it's horrible in tea.

Sounds disgusting, a friend of mine does something similar using Polish spirit & licorice flavoured cough sweets - he calls it 'Black Pig'
