Christmas Spirit? Bah humbug!
I dunno, a fellow member does you a brand new avatar, and what happens? Some old meany comes along and defaces it for you - boo sucks to you all
Anyway, it got me thinking - what's the most miserable, meanest thing that you can think of that's happened over Christmas? I'm thinking the £10 voucher for your bonus, the having to go into work on New Years Day, that sort of thing.
FWIW, I think defacing an avatar is pretty mean , but the extra 10 quid in the pay packet at my old workplace was pretty bad

Re: Christmas Spirit? Bah humbug!
well you wouldn't have been disappointed, this year, Nug, that 'massive' £10 bonus will be appearing in our wage packets next week - I don't know how you will cope with missing out on that
I've just been reading about the 800 odd BT workers who have been told their jobs are being outsourced to India
- that is a nice pressie
- can't get El Reg to load to paste the link, sorry.

You know, it really wouldn't surprise me if you defaced your own avatar and are trying to blame a certain mod

After two years and nearly 5000 posts, I can't believe that you still think I have any idea how to do that

Re: Christmas Spirit? Bah humbug!
Our company has shut an office down south and is moving it to my office... redundancies for the locals and a Christmas full of integration/configuration and box moving for us (IT dept)
They cancelled 2 of my days off to accommodate.

Re: Christmas Spirit? Bah humbug!
I working xmas eve night and xmas day night, so I'll be coming home xmas morning, opening pressies, then going to bed, then having xmas dinner quickly before heading back to work.
Still, it's not like I can normally sleep on xmas eve anyway, far too excited waiting for santa
