Top Gear Survey 2005
I just wondered whether you got a good result for your vehicle and if you agree with it's placement.
(follow the format below if you can)
I'll start it off:
Car: Skoda Octavia (vRS)
Survey Page: :link:
Position: 5th
Opinion: Thouroughly agree, the only gripe I have is that it has a few minor rattles (the door lock knob and sometimes vague dashboard taps/creaks).
Overall though, it is by far the best car I've owned for performance, economey and build quality.

Re: Top Gear Survey 2005
Car Honda Jazz
position 6th
survey page http://www.topgear.com/content/featu...ies/01/20.html
opinion Marked down on handling, which i would agree with, tends to understeer & roll a bit round corners, but otherwise an extremely reliable, versatile & cheap to run car.

Re: Top Gear Survey 2005
Car: Ford Mundano
Survey Page: link
Position 79th
Opinion: It's a company car ! Better than most 'standard company cars' - 130bhp diesel has some decent grunt and handles pretty well.

Re: Top Gear Survey 2005
Car: Ford Galaxy
Survey Page: link
Position: 137th
Opinion: Harsh imo. Good care and does exactly what it says on the tin. Never going to be a racer or prestidge care like a Merc or BMW. Usually bought for a purpose (kids etc), and normally meets it. I have had no probs with Fords either over the years.

Re: Top Gear Survey 2005
Car: Renault Megane
Survey Page: http://www.topgear.com/content/featu...ries/01/5.html
Position: 152
Opinion WTF??? Low handling score? Low performance? Low reliability? Low comfort? Were these guys actual Megane owners?
Totally disagree, and with the rating of the Laguna too!
Extremely comfortable (done over 50,000 miles, I'm so glad its comfortable!)
Handles like a dream, as if it's anchored to the road.
Loads of power.
Ok the back end puts some people off, but when you're driving, you don't see it, that's the beauty of it.
Big boot for a car of it's size.
But then, these days Top Gear isn't really a car review program, it's Maxim on telly without the women.

Re: Top Gear Survey 2005
Is that the worst designed set of web pages to grace us in a while, why can you not search for your model to find out where it is placed?

Re: Top Gear Survey 2005
My poor little car is not on the list. It should be maybe theres not anyone that bothered.
Kia Picanto Given the cars I have drove over the last 2 years its one of the best IMHO.

But it has a considerable female following (at least in this office anyway).

Re: Top Gear Survey 2005
The show, not Clarkson, but didn't the Hampster get into the list of top 10 people you won't admit to fancying.
