Premiership Streaming
I've started uni a month ago, and i'm not really missing telly, apart from the football matches / highlights.
I'm not getting a TV licence as it would be too costly, but i have broadband in my accomodation, and i'm wondering if anyone could recommend a good site that either has live football streaming, or at least football highlights.
Specifically, it's Blackburn Rovers that i want to watch, if that's of any help in referring me to a specific site. Not being able to see Rovers thrash United the other month really cheesed me off!
I'm really amazed that the BBC sport site has streamable interviews with managers/players, but no highlights. I presume this is for cost reasons though.

Re: Premiership Streaming
guys, not to veer of the subject but I keep hearing about needing a license for something. Are you saying you need a license to watch your telly or what? Here in the US, if your close to town, you do not even need cable to pick up local stations, but you can subscribe to cable or satelite. I have all of them to assure I can what American Football. By the way, the Pittsburgh Steelers kicked Cincinnati Bengals butts to day. it was a good day for football in Pittsburgh.

It's a lot better than that offered by the independant companies (including ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky).
@Sarge, in Britain, anyone who has any equipment capable of recieving a colour television signal has to purchase a TV licence. The licence is used mainly to pay for the BBC (which is not allowed to charge subscriptions, or advertise) and to pay part of the costs towards Freeview (a terrestrial digital TV system that has about 30 channels and has no subscription fees) and Channel 4.
But, all that is off topic. The OP is asking if any site streams free footy.
