Audio Visual Equipment - question
Hi all,
I am a bit flummoxed, and thought that someone here might be able to help.
I have been given a piece of equipment, and all I know is that it's some kind of AV kit. It's made by Thomson Video Equipment and it's called a "serializer/deserializer". So far all I can find out is that Thomson are a French company, but I can't even find their website! Any ideas on what it does, what to do with it, what it's worth, how to get rid of it (other than ebay!)? It is still boxed, and has never been opened.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Audio Visual Equipment - question
Is there some sort of part number on it?

Re: Audio Visual Equipment - question
It says TTV 7655 S/D (I am assuming that the last part means Serializer/Deserializer).

Re: Audio Visual Equipment - question
From the auctions it's appearing in, I'd say it was a piece of broadcast kit. Where's Proppin' when you need him?

Sounds interesting... may I ask which auctions you have seen it in? I am just looking to offload it.
