where are all the call centres?
Hi,
Looking to find contact details for call centres major business's in the North West.
Basically anywhere thats big enough to have a IT helpdesk this can include mad nhs etc.
Having recently moved over here I do not have sufficient local knowledge to draw on. I know theres got to be plenty in Manchester and Liverpool areas and would welcome any details. I don't need anything too specific just the company name and the town or estate. ie.
Ntl
Preston Farm Ind Est
Stockton
Any help would be fantastic and theres a bag full of reps here for those that can help.
Anywhere else in the country would be good also specifically those near Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh and London.

First Directs Call Centre is Wakefield Road, Leeds (LS98 1FD).
(Tho apparently they have six others now ......)

Co-operative Insurance Services, Manchester
Carole Nash Insurance, Altrincham
Skydeals, Bury
Possibly MyTravel, Rochdale/Manchester
Also Great Universal Stores (Argos, catalogues etc) are HQd in Mcr.
Think the AA might have one in Manchester somewhere too.

Thomas Cook has call centres dotted around in Scotland, W Yorks (I think) etc as well - HQ in Peterbrough.

BT used to have a Call centre in Thurso, not sure if it's still there though.

BT has a command centre in Brentwood, Essex (Paul works there) and a call centre in Tyne and Wear (cos they mucked up his security details and said he worked there today!)
Think they have another call centre in Manchester somewhere - and probably a few others!

There are loads of call Centres in Leeds - Banks, Phone, IT etc.
Try agencies that deal with this area
