There are some good tips in this thread but make sure you have read and learnt as much of your highway code as possible and try get the practice disks for the hazard perception part (some thing I didn't do but spent today before the test wishing that I had!)

I managed to fail my theory test first time by 1 (one!) point. No matter what Mrs Nug says, it had absolutely nothing to do with going out 'for an hour' the night before, and rolling in 5 hours after I left the house
Still, passed it the second time
