Burtons, River Island and Topman are not what I'd classify as "fashionable", most of what they sell are just pedestrian day to day clothes, we have a fantastic Diesel shop near us and a couple of other decent shops selling DKNY, Armani, Boss, RorD etc

Re: Men, where to get fashionable clothes
I get socks et al from Tesco. Don't really need to wash them - can just bin them, they're that cheap. I used to love Allders until they shut it I tend to get most of my stuff from http://www.lxdirect.com I also like George for some stuff. Shirts, ties and trousers I favour Debenhams. Most highstreet shops are too chavy for my liking.

La Redoute have french style at reasonable prices (tend to be on the small size so get one size bigger).

Re: Men, where to get fashionable clothes
I normally go to Debenhems. They have a good mixture of clothes.
I've used La Redoute before too and you can find good stuff there too from time to time.
I always find Topman to not have enough of a range and be too streetwise at times.

Just go to Primark - not only are they cheap, but they have the added advantage of nicking Monsoons designs
Allegedly

You can get some pretty good stuff on Psyche's website.
I believe they are in Middlesborough.
