Hottest thing in a can?
I've had a can of this stuff and it's got to be one of the hottest things I've yet experienced, amazing as most canned stuff can be bland:

You're looking hot! Explosive habaneros - the world's hottest chilies - and fiery Chile de Arbol flavour ignite braised beef, red tomatoes, chopped onions, seasoned with flame throwing spices. No wonder it's catching fire with chili lovers everywhere!
|
Tamed it this evening by adding it to a standard home made chili. Still pretty hot

Re: Hottest thing in a can?
I found it quite bland with too much tomato, so much prefer to make my own with a mix of chillis including Bhut Jolokia, Habaneros, Serrano and Cayenne which I grow myself.
I see they have now got one with pasta in it!
This sauce defeats me if I overdo it in chilli though...

Remind me to decline an invite to a chili evening with you m8. I prefer my posterior to be intact the next day.

Wimp
I have Dave's insanity with chesse on toast, love it Always got a bottle in the fridge for when I have the urge for a little warmth with my food.
I also have Blair's After Death, Sudden Death, Original Death & Jalapeno Death sauces as well as some Frank's red hot Cayenne pepper sauce, Louisiana Habanero hot sauce & Louisiana Jalapeno hot sauce.
Along with those I also use Cholula's original & chipotle hot sauces on everything from rice to chips & all foods in between! Some like it hot, I like it hotter

I'm sure that accounts for the eyes in his avatar.
No disrespect intended to the late great Marty.

Re: Hottest thing in a can?
Sadly all these over chillied sauces will catch up you..eventually the continual heartburn will finish you off.

I would have to take Stagg to task claiming that it contains the worlds hottest chili's. Habanero's are not the hottest by any stretch of the imagination.
These guys "HomeGrownUKChili" http://www.youtube.com/user/HomeGrownUkChili are mad & they know their hot sauces

Maybe they're just claiming the can title?
In my books they've got it for now.
BTW the "tamed" version was very tasty but still nicely hot.

I love the Dave's insanity range of sauces but the Ghost pepper sauce is ridiculously hot.

Re: Hottest thing in a can?
I once bought a bottle of Da' Bomb - Ground Zero sauce
dabomb.jpg
Had to throw it away...It was far too hot to use, even in small doses.
