RBS debt write off advice

Sorry i know it not cable related but need advice. I had debt with Rbs because of there error. I ended up this September on a debt arrangement scheme when I launched a complaint. The debt today was written off as they admitted serious errors but am my allowed the debt arrangement payments from when I complained refunded. Thanks

No need to bump your thread after only a few hours, especially if you started the thread in the wee small hours when few users are online.

I would have expected you can get a refund if it was their mistake, but have you asked?

Re: Rbs debt write off advice

Sorry I can't offer much advice, but have you contacted Citizens Advice? They have a lot of advice about various situations on their site, and if you can get to your local branch, they will try and help you, including offering legal advice.

And the service is free.

I personally can vouch for them as they helped me sort out another problem a couple of years back.

I had a problem with Npower threatening legal action because I had apparently continually either refused their meter readers access to my property , or been out when they called, when I had actually been in on every occasion they said they called and no one had turned up.

What were the "serious errors"?

Rbs managed to sort it by classing das payment as compensation and the errors was to do with them selling products I didn't understand

Basically I got a loan but didn't understand the interest and a lie was present over how much. Then the bank advised me to invest loan in a stocks and shares Isa not telling me the risks. Then I struggled and asked for help then bank refused me just to start with. At least they put it right
