Yes Gary, a big black box for bottles, and several different coloured bags. Like you say box could be handy for several things. Even I couldn't fill two boxes with bottles lol!

We used to have grey boxes for recycling, then they went over to a two wheelie bin system and said we could keep the boxes for whatever we wanted to use them for. Handy as they're nice and strong.

Is that on HD channels Carl? It annoys me as well when I watch one of those Channel 4 afternoon films on the HD channel only to have the bar down each side of the screen.

Point 1. It wasn't me that made that comment on CF.
Point 2: Yes Carl, it looks abysmal when you have the wrong aspect ratio.

Thank you Carl. My pet hate is that the BBC managed to make a total mess of the F1 qualifying today. Q2 was halted by the rainfall, then we were informed about the freaking tennis. On every bloody BBC channel. What a shower.

there are a few different wide screen formats top and bottom bars are nothing unusual . If you buy a big enough tv having a 4:3 image isn't so bad lol

Programs that want you to by default add crap that you don't want.
As in toolbars in IE.
So you can easily add them in error.
