It's good to talk. They may not be aware how much noise travels down through their floor so you could point that out to them. I'm assuming you are in flats. It's often the case that things like tumble dryers/ washing machines are noisier for neighbours than the source of the noise.
If they do it again then you know that they're inconsiderate eejits.
Could cheaper electricity be the reason they're doing it at such a strange time?

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 7
I don,t think the electricity comes into it as they are a family that get everything on a plate, if you know what I mean, People in the house that should not be there etc

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 7
WTF - My back is really bad again
So much so Natalie is trying her hardest to get me to go see the Dr and I'm even considering it.
I know I moan a lot but a week without having something wrong with me would be nice!
Stuff it all!

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 7
I sympathise, after I had knee surgery in 2009 I went through 18 months where I seemed to be in the doctors every other week. I seemed to pick up infection after infection and think I took every antibiotic known to medicine during that period.
I had an ear infection at first, then a throat infection, then kidney, then my ears again then a bad cold left me needing treatment for pneumonia! Thankfully, apart from the diabetes I seem to be doing fine at the moment.

Results from a blood test (for Crohn's).. Iron, b12, calcium and Vit D deficient again. No wonder I feel so low and crappy. So even more pills...

Denphone picking on me all the time.
No not really. Lack of manners, poor service, beggars( Big issue falls in to that as far as I am concerned ever couple of feet -well it feels like that anyway) Cold food when its meant to be hot. Health & Safely laws. British weather. Go on Den leaving myself wide open - but hy its still fun!

Me picking on you but seriously one must have a positive outlook in life as l think sometimes society takes things far too seriously and remember we only have one life and one never knows whats around the corner as l know from my own experiences.

No room at the inn in my usual hotel so stuck in this dump on TCR. Been trying to get to sleep but sounds like there's a riot going on outside

I cursed myself the other day. Woke up this morning with a sore throat and a raging cold. Great.

MY usally reply to things is one of two
" your confusing me ---- with some whom cares "
or" life`s to short to worry about that !"
BUT saying that if you always expect the worst - you are always pleased with what you get. After all in can only be as good or better
Only 52 days ( if Ive counted correctly) Before I am back in the States So you wont get my moans from there

.....slipping over a /nearly/ dead bird the cats brought in as a present.
They do this a lot at the moment but I usually know they've done it by the screams from Natalie not squishing it.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 7
Went for a walk in the country yesterday and got bitten\stung by a (I think) horsefly, once on the hand and once on the neck. Hand's beginning to swell up badly as is neck. I'll have to go and get some anti-histamine tablets.
Last time it happened to my arm and it swelled up to double size from the shoulder to my hand and was weeping from the skin. The tablets will fix it inside 12 hours, it's just we're out at the moment. Boy does it itch! I never used to react like this.
