Good job I wasn't born in Denmark, my parents would have been in hot water over the number of hyphens I ended up with in both my forenames and my surname. Mind it would have made my life a tad easier in primary school, dealing with sarky teachers was the bane of my life as a youngster.

Personally I would take children away from parents who choose to humiliate their children with ridiculous names.I've seen and had first hand knowledge of the pain of having a funny name especially as a teacher.
If one truly loves one's child you don't use your own vanity to name them.You try to pick a name that reflects them and the family from which they come.If you must give a fancy name make it a middle name that the child can use or not use at their own discretion.

Zowie Bowie at least he had some alternatives to rely on..Don't get me started on the madness of Paula Yates..
But it all goes to prove my point about it being the vanity of the parents of whom I would judge most had a baby or two because they were a fashion accessory..
At least Toyah Wilcox had the decency to refuse to have any children but got slated for being selfish for being sterilised.
