The Great British Holiday - Barry Island - the memories

I was sitting down looking through memories and watching Youtube, and came across Barry Island in Wales.

As it is the holiday season and the great getaway from the cold to the sun, Does any member of this forum remember Barry Island Resort which is now a housing Estate.

I went there just after Butlins sold it to Majestic's before it became Barry Island Resort, the friends we made and the great memories that we had will never be forgotten, does anyone else go on Youtube to look at memories such as these.

I go down there a lot, it's only about 30 miles away. They even lay on special Gavin and Stacey tours

Generally I'll go on YouTube to watch music video's from the very early 80's. Gives my poor old memory a shunt every once in a while & then I end up loading my MP3 player with stuff from 30 years ago.
Dont really dwell on the past too much though, tend to concentrait on today/tomorrow.
