I have rang Welsh Water and they have claimed that an engineer has been out and sorted yet no one has been and 2 people have been watching for an engineer they promised this afternoon that never turned up and 2 others in the block have also complained yet Welsh Water claim not to have recieved any others.
There are 4 blocks out which includes 2 floors of disabled which includes a floor of the Blind.

Yes, phone them back and insist that the problem is not sorted.
They can tell you an engineer has been out but it is not for them to tell you whether it has been fixed. If you insist you still have no water they are obliged to deal with it.
Chris i just had a telephone call from a woman at Welsh Water who claims she has spoken to the principle techie in the area and they are onsight at the place where they fixed a water leak a month ago trying to find the fault. Now this place is right behind the block of flats i live in and i can see it from the window in the communal hall and theres no one there and i told her that only to be told "Thats all the information i have been given and he has stated that hopefully the water will be restored sometime tomorrow".
Welsh Water turns up at 8:10am and now the water is back on.
They discovered that a valve had been turned off in the street down the road for some reason and took out 4 blocks of flats a number of businesses inc a doctors surgery.
Chris i cant understand why they didnt do it yesterday as the Doc Surgury is also open on Sundays for emergency doctors. The Valve that was turned off was right outside of the Surgery.
