Wink LED Strip Light (Looping)

Hi

I'm Thinking Of Putting LED Strip Lights Behind My TV, And my New Fire, To Lighten Up The Mood In The Lounge.

Ive Bought LED Strips Before, And I like them, However, The Strip Lights I Bought Last Time Were One Continuous Strip, With 1 Plug On The End.

What I want To Do This Time Is Slightly Different.

I have Plug Sockets Either Side Of my TV, And A Cable Channel Midway On The Wall, Holding The HDMI Cables.

If You Look At My Diagram Attached, You Can Get A Feel Of Where I Want The Strips Placed, Behind The TV, And Fire. I've Added The Fire For Demo Purpose.

My Problem Arises When Searching For LED Strips. They Come in 19 Inch Strips, Some of Them. Others Come On A Roll of 5-10 M.

What I Need to be Able to Do Is Have Someway To Connect These Strips Together So I only Have One Plug Socket / Adapter For The Lights.

What I Dont Want To Happen, Is To Have a 10M Long Strip of LED's Going All Around the Back Of The Fire, And Around the TV.

(See 2nd Attachment For Diagram of Lights)

I Do Realise I Will Need To Connect Them Using Wire.

Can Anyone Suggest Anything To Help?

Re: LED Strip Light (Looping)

There are cables and connectors elsewhere on the site although one of our resident 'leccy experts may know a simpler way.

Re: LED Strip Light (Looping)

A lot depends on the connector types, and if you can buy them somewhere. Then you have to check that the PSU is man enough for the job, many supplied with "linkable" strips can only handle 1 or 2 more at best.

Clas Olsen sells kits I believe. http://www.clasohlson.co.uk/Product/...eProducts.aspx
