Mobile phone insurance
I have a £15pm contact that came with 3 months free insurance which is due to expire and will now cost £5.99pm.
I have had a PAYG mobile since they first come out and I have only lost one phone.
Is it worth it, or should I cancel the insurance and save £6?

As that is just under £72 it depends on how much you pay for the phones you use so weigh up the cost difference and if it is only slight cancel and save the cash.

Re: Mobile phone insurance
If you have contents insurance on your house it may already cover mobiles.

Re: Mobile phone insurance
Good grief - that's more than my phone cost! Granted it's a very basic model (so basic, in fact, it apparently doesn't have an apostrophe key! ), but since I only ever use a phone as a phone, and since I hate the damn things anyway, it does everything I need - and it cost £10!
PAYG is the way to go - no hassle, and you can top up at an ATM; handy. Mind you, I don't top up the damn thing until I get a text from Orange saying the credit's dipped below £1...which only happens every two months or so, if that. It's never had more than £10 credit on it!

Re: Mobile phone insurance
You could also check your bank account as some types of accounts have mobile insurance with them?

Den most mobile phone insurance does not cover faults, It is only loss or damage.
