'Fat and fit live as long as slim'

People who are fat and fit live just as long as their slim counterparts and are less likely to die from heart disease, according to a new study

Oh, dear, another axe-to-grind study. My first question on hearing this is: what physical shape is Dr. Jennifer Kuk in? I'm betting she's no supermodel.

So as long as you walk to McD's you can have extra fries with your burger. and it keeps the experts in a job.

Re: 'Fat and fit live as long as slim'

Even the same researcher. If she was worth her salt, she'd be saying to herself: "Eh?" Two studies coming up with diametrically opposed results? Well, they can't both be right.

Idiots. You can prove any damn thing you want if you cherry-pick your assumptions. Real science involves making no assumptions, no preconceptions.

Re: 'Fat and fit live as long as slim'

Most of the studies in today's world are just using science for more profit. Proving things for big companies that are financing that particular study.

Size of the body doesn't determine health of a person. Health's probably more dependent on eating habits and lifestyle.

Well in my case my health problems are down to a hereditary medical defect which has made my medical condition worse as l have got older.
