Now that really makes you want to fly with this cowboy outfit.

Er no they do not i know somebody who is contracted to work for said airline.

Mind you despite bad publicity passengers continue to use Ryanair why? if they wanted quality service surely they would be willing to pay for it,on second thoughts perhaps not ! despite moaning passengers from uk PLC flock to use Ryanair ,says it all really.

Oh dear more news stories that have been twisted beyond reality!
I'm sure this didnt happen as it has been told.

I've just come home today on Ryanair and have flown with them for years.

To clarify on the security question....... They have to adhere to the same regulations as all other airlines that operate in the UK...The same as BA, Air France, etc.
Otherwise they wouldnt be allowed to fly.

Re: Heart-attack passenger 'charged for a sandwich' by Ryanair

There's bits of this story that don't seem to quite ring true. Are we expected to believe that the Stewardess who sold the passenger a sandwich and a drink was aware that he was allegedly having a heart attack?

I know that Ryanair take the p!ss in some of their charges but I doubt if they would rewrite the first aid manual to eek a few more euros out of a passenger.

It's a sloppy piece of journalism at best.

I totally agree Ryanair for all its faults is an easy target for lazy journalists.

Re: Heart-attack passenger 'charged for a sandwich' by Ryanair

The only thing I can say against Ryanair is that sometimes the stewardesses dont speak very good english so it can be hard to communicate with them but on the security side, it is all very good.

The average age of a ryanair aircraft is about 4 - 6 years old so very good.
The fast turnaround time means they pay less airport parking fees too.

Rubbish is also collected in flight so as to cut time spent once landed.

You all did notice that I put this in Lifestyle rather than News as I did read all the various items on it first and found it rather amusing.

Re: Heart-attack passenger 'charged for a sandwich' by Ryanair

I'm flying ryanair in a few weeks to Portugal and I expect a budget airline service, as thats what I've paid for. The thing is you need your head screwed on with these companies to come out on top with the likes of printing out your boarding passes in advance, hand luggage sizes, debit/credit card charges for bookings and buying goods onboard just to name but a few common reasons people get caught out.

I'm not put off by this at all, I prefer to travel as cheaply as possible and will continue to do so as long as its available
