Thomson Reuters Help

I have an interview with Thomas Reuters for a roll in sales and trading - sales transactions. I'm educated in IT business not the actual market, I need as much help and information as possible. I'm aware that Reuters news is respected as well as being well informed and the roll I'll be interviewed for is pretty much a middleman role ? Can anyone offer any help in a nutshell so-to-speak with regards to Thomas Reuters, things they may ask me such as competitors, the role itself etc.

Re: Thomson Reuters Help

I would treat it the same as any other interview;

1 - ensure you know what role you are applying for by reading the description thoroughly
2 - research the company by having a good look at their website as this will contain the information they want you to know about them. it's essentially their own advertisement page, so see what it tells you about the company

If you're good enough for the position, you will be able to answer any questions or perform any on-the-spot tasks easily without extra reading or study on the field. the last thing you want is for them to present you a scenario or task and you turn around and say 'Oh, I haven't read up on how to do that yet!' - just be confident you know enough to do what they will be asking of you at the start. nor do you want to have questions thrown at you about a position you didn't apply for, because you didn't read the job description properly.
