European Payments
Hi,
I need to make a payment to a friend in europe....
I've checked the bank and they want £25 or £9 to do the transfer.
They don't have a paypal account - I don't think they do anyway...
What's the cheapest way to do this? I've got the IBAN number etc...

Re: European Payments
Western Union?
Not free but possibly cheaper than the bank.

Re: European Payments
Always had this issue with buying stuff from German ebayers.. They never accept paypal so you have to add an international bank transfer which bumps up the costs..
Surprised that the banks don't count EU transfers the same as UK transfers..

Only if you have under a certain amount of feedback. Also there's differing rules for different countries..
But that is a whole other topic

I've never used them, but this organisation claims to charge £5.
