Food for thought..
Anyone recommend anything in particular for me to cook for tea, has to be for 3 people, something rather simple (yes I'm not an amazing cook)
I like pretty much anything so skies the limit. Just suggestions would be good, have looked online and they all seem a little fancy just want some decent 'grub'

Seafood Pasta goes down well.
Chuck some prawns, mussels, squid rings, peas, and fried mushrooms into some tagliatelli pasta, add some cream, toss it around. Serve with garlic bread.
If you want to stay clear of seafood, hows about some chicken breasts, slice them open and put some Boursin Garlic abnd Chive cheese in to form parcels.
Wrap parma ham round them, secure with string, and poach cook it in half chicken stock, half red wine.
Serve with rice and some greens.
Or the chinese route.......Buy some chicken pieces or prawns, a bottle sweet chilli sauce, some white wine, a few peanuts, some grated ginger, and juice of a lime.
Chuck it all in and put enough sweet chilli sauce and white wine to make a sauce. Add a few chinese spices, a bit of ground ginger, and a chopped spring onion or two.
Serve with udon noodles that you chuck in at the last minute and toss around for a few minutes til cooked.

I'm a seafood lover but my other half isn't, but the second one sounds very yummy!

A simple Sausage, mash, veg and onion gravy tends to be a favorite with just about everyone.. Just make sure it's a decent sausage gently cooked, the mash should be well cooked, mashed then mixed with a large knob of butter and about 1/6th cup of heated milk (90 secs in the microwave), veggies can be anything in season and the onion gravy is simple.. just gently fry the onions until soft then add a decent carton or instant gravy..
Instead of onion you can do Rosemary (lamb/pork/turkey) sage (pork or turkey sausages) or mint gravy (lamb sausages)...
