Post Lazy Susan help - Wonder if anyone knows

I'm looking for a wooden lazy Susan to put on our wooden hardwood rectangular patio table outside, I've measured and I reckon if I stick to 30-35 cm MAX diameter I can still fit a plate on the long narrow sides without it getting in the way. Only problem is, all the ones I've seen are 50cm and up, which effectively takes over the whole surface of the table (its 1.5m x 90 cm)

I've had a good look on eBay & Amazon to no avail, Google doesn't seem to offer help either, anyone got any suggestions? even if they know someone who could make one up.

Re: Lazy Susan help - Wonder if anyone knows

Sorry should have pointed out it needs to have a hole through the centre for the parasol.

Re: Lazy Susan help - Wonder if anyone knows

Could you just not use a hole saw for the parasol? (Obviously warranty/returns may be an issue there).

You can get this from Ikea for £5.10 but you would need to drill the hole.

Don't they rotate on a central pivot?

Re: Lazy Susan help - Wonder if anyone knows

How much use will a 30-35 cm Lazy Suzy be? 30cm is not much bigger than a standard dinner plate...

Re: Lazy Susan help - Wonder if anyone knows

What about my question? If the pivot is in the middle, there's not much hance of getting one to fit around a parasol?

Graham, they're generally a ring type thingy with ball bearings on the ring, leaving the centre free.

You can get the bearings them from Ebay for exactly that purpose as they are mostly designed with a hole in the middle.
