Shower Head
Morning,
OK - all knowing people - ysterday we purchased a new shower head as ours leaked like Niagra Falls!
With it there was a rubber washer and this piece of plastic - on closer inspection of the piece of plastic there appered to be some white tape which you could unravel.
I know what the rubber washer is for but what about this tape stuff? The other half suggested it coule be some sealent of some description, but I've no idea what to do with it. Nothing on the packet about it either.
Ideas??

Ah fair enough - I thought it might be for that but then I thought (brain thinking too much) that it would just be ground off the screw thread and make mushy mess!

no it works fine as long as you don't wind too much round, 4-5 turns should be plenty
