10 Things I’ve Done You Probably Haven’t....

There’s a LiveJournal meme floating around at the moment that asking people to list ten things they’ve done that other people they know probably haven’t.

Here's my (poor) starter for ten...

1. Punched Mark Almond (of Soft Cell fame)
2. Lain in a concealed hide in a field in Norn Iron for 48 hours
3. Travelled to and from New Zealand 12 times in 2 years
4. Listened to the crew of a TU-95 Bear celebrating Moscow Dynamo winning a match
5. Lost a wedding ring in the Singapore Airlines Business Class lounge in Changi Airport
6. Had a few beers with David Haye
7. Caught the passenger ferry across the Clyde from Govan to Partick
8. Been in a drinks round with Jeffrey Archer, Norman Tebbit, and Dennis Thatcher
9. Rowed the length of Lake Windermere
10. Illegally entered (and left) the USA

Actually, I got the idea from here and here, and I thought it might be fun for CF'ers.

1. Been a pro-wrestler
2. Reffed a wrestling match with a former WWE star
3. Had my own radio show
4. Taught Mark Owen how to say "Good Morning" and "I love you" in Welsh
5. Slept in the same bed as a Miss World contestant
6. Sneezed over Cheryl Cole
7. Had my head (ie the one on top of my neck) polished by Darren Hayes from Savage Garden
8. Scared the life out of (former CF and nthw.com mod) Neil Crayne with my driving
9. Had a kettle, road cone and Yellow Pages thrown at me "in the name of fun".
10. Screamed like a pig in public at getting my 'bikini line' waxed "in the name of fun".

2. Flew to Canada and set off back four hours after arriving.
3. Taught a topless woman to drive.
4. Went to school with Mick Hucknall.
5. Broke my kneck.
6. Had George Best visit me personally in hospital.
7. Been possum hunting.
8. Had a police officer pull a gun on me.
9. Saved a drowning man.
10. Had an ashtray thrown at me for bad singing on a karaeoke.

Only a few for me (I've probably done tons of stuff you haven't, but this is the most interesting)

1) Held (and made a call on) Louise Redknapp's mobile phone.
2) Met Kate Lawler and Sister.
3) Helped in a charity run by Ross Kemp.
4) Been drunk in the driver's seat of the car owned by the ex-chief of Police in Istanbul.
5) Had a (unloaded) gun pointed at me by the aforementioned ex-chief of Police.

And before you ask, I am friends with his Daughter, and was in Turkey to watch her get married.

These 5 come to mind, i'll post if I can rememeber some more.

1. Was groomed by a barbarry ape
2. Got up on stage at a Bloodhound Gang concert and had my belly baby oiled by a few girls
3. Flown a plane
4. Drag raced a 550hp car down a drag strip
5. Had a chat with Willie Thorne and Dennis Taylor

Flew a glider un-aided at age ten on complete circuit. Winched take-off and round to land. My father in the back but he didn't touch the controls the whole way round. Didn't really ignite a want to fly aircraft though.
