Happy End of British Summertime

Clocks apparently went back about an hour ago ..I'm drunk after being in the pub and got a wee bit confused for a second when going around changing the clocks in the house because my phone and computer clock auto changed ...the twunts.

Re: Happy End of British Summertime

I must be a creature of habit, hubby had already put the clocks back, so it was only 9.48pm when I went to bed. I said to him it was going to be a long night, and true to form I was wide awake at 5.30 this morning. Still pretty dark though, looks and feels like the middle of the night.

So dark and gloomy down here at the moment that the hour change made precious little difference to the "daylight". Still an extra hour in bed with HWMBO was nice.

Now just got to change all those pesky clocks. At least the PC's look after themselves.

Proposal to align with CET:

Would suit me. Great to have long Summer evenings when you could get out into the countryside.

Well, you have to get up to go to work/school whatever. But at the weekends you just lie in until it's light...

Re: Happy End of British Summertime

I read that in some part of the country the sun wouldn't set till not long before midnight.

I think Cameron either had a 'to do' list already made up in the event of him getting in. or he's trying to get as much in as he can before the students come and get him out.
