what do you think about iceland stores ?
dose Iceland make you want to i-scream ?
let the Joe take you to a place where you will shiver,
because if its not the ice, bad customer service they will deliver.
first of all the main products are pukka,
because anyone who pays more then 68p for sugar, they are a sucker.
the deals and special offers are the draw,
but there own fresh meat i would never score.
just like there own brand names i am not to keen,
but over all the store is generally OK and clean.
now the let down and its from the front line,
because what ever Iceland offer, there staff take away there shine.
i get to the till with a Que that's a mile,
and when i get served the service is vile.
chatting over her shoulder, the young cashier don't give a dam,
as fast as ever whacking my shopping through with a slam.
takes my money and starts serving,
the gentleman behind me shopping i am now swerving.
Iceland do yourself a favour, correct staff employ,
just then your business you might not destroy.
instead of letting ques build, have the 4 tills in operation,
your business will improve, and i will get better cooperation.
Iceland its for your own good and your business will be a dream,
the nest time the Joe is in Iceland i hope o do not have to I-scream.
the joe is not happy with this store as you can tell lol i dont think i will be going back lol anyone on cable have any views on this shop ?

Don't use Iceland much. We have two Sainsburys nearby who offer a better selection of fresh food, and a Marks and Spencers which offers better frozen food.
Having said that, when I went to Iceland, I found the service was adequate rather than particularly efficient or friendly..

Never used one - nor did my mum.

Re: what do you think about iceland stores ?
Appalling quality products full of various nasty substances I don't want to even contemplate putting into my body.
The frozen stuff is an abomination, the fresh stuff is worse.
Only the brand name goods should really be bought.
The reason the service is so 'adequate' at best is precisely because it's so cheap there. Decent service requires more staff, more staff cost more money which means higher prices.
The poem is awful by the way, spelling has improved but punctuation still sucks, no rhythm at all to the prose making it impossible to read and using the wrong spellings of words here and there.

Re: what do you think about iceland stores ?
Agreed re the "poem" - whilst the words at the end of the lines (mostly) rhyme, there is very little evidence of metre (be it iambic, trochaic, dactylic or whatever); it appears to be a mixture of free verse and accentual verse (imho), and does neither very well.....

You're putting the wrong beat to it when you're reading it.

I looked up one.
trochaic: Usually, trochaics. a verse or poem written in trochees.
trochees: –noun Prosody . a foot of two syllables, a long followed by a short in quantitative meter, or a stressed followed by an unstressed in accentual meter.
then I shook my head violently and carried on eating my cornflakes

Re: what do you think about iceland stores ?
Iambic: two syllables with the first unstressed and the second stressed, e.g. aGAIN.
Trochaic: two syllables with the first stressed and the second unstressed, e.g. TAble.
Foot: a metrical unit consisting of two syllables.
