Question Wire Mesh

Does anyone know a good online place where I can get Wire Mesh to do my Chicken Aviary? I'm after 1inch by 1inch square Mesh, but im happy with 1/2 inch. Everywhere ive looked have silly prices, including ebay, especially for delivery.

Im after about 30m but need 40m ideally, and the only ones ive come accross do 30m, which means i have to fork out another silly delivery charge.

Re: Wire Mesh

My daughter used to buy all this sort of stuff from a local agricultural hardware store. This was by far the cheaper option compared to your usual consumer DIY stores.

Obviously you'll have to search your own area but this was where we used to get stuff, just to give you an idea.

Why's it not suitable? You can get 1 in or half inch X50metres for £30. That seems to match your initial description..

http://www.meshdirect.co.uk/Chicken-...4ft-pr-43.html

They also have the square galvanised stuff too..

http://www.meshdirect.co.uk/Wire-Mes...inch-c-23.html

What are you looking for if not that?

Re: Wire Mesh

thanks for link salu, its the mesh im after, the chicken wire itself is too thin for the coop, unfortunately its still too expensive from the links given so far, but i did manage to get 38 meters of wire mesh for £58 which i think is going to be the cheapest i can get it.

Re: Wire Mesh

Another vote for mesh direct..

If it was chicken wire (we used a load round the allotment to stop the rabbits) then there's a few on eBay that do a BOGOF offer..
