Ford Fiesta Fuse
Hello
I have a 2001 1.3 Ford Fiesta with no manual. My 12v socket does not work and I think it may be the fuse. But with no manual I have no idea what fuse it is.
Anyone have a book or know what fuse it is.
Cheers

Re: Ford Fiesta Fuse
Can you not pull each fuse 1 at a time to see if it has a broken fuse link?

Re: Ford Fiesta Fuse
It would only take a few mins to look at each fuse if the link is visible.
My google found that your car has 2 fuseboxes 1 near the drivers knee and the other in the bonnet near passenger side.

Just in case you get to the tearing out of hair stage I can highly recommend these guys over on the Ford Owners Club.

Re: Ford Fiesta Fuse
The fuse boxes will be similar, with gaps as the circuit isn't installed on a particular model.
Inside he lid should be symbols which tell you what the fuse does.

I would agree with the above, normally on the inside flap of the fuse box there's information telling you which fuse does what, and in the past I've found the 12v socket is on the same circuit as the interior lights, although this may not be in your case.
Ive also come across corroded terminal on the back of the fuse box, so if you find the fuse is ok, don't assume the circuit is ok until you have metered it out

Re: Ford Fiesta Fuse
Ford use a blade type fuse (new models use a mini blade fuse) if you look down at them from above, you may see the wire through a small window.
