That is amazing.
That really does show how when we have our darkest of days you should never give up.
That guy really knows what he's talking about. Great video.

There's a man who won't be complaining if Sky1 HD doesn't arrive tomorrow. He kind of puts that sort of issue into perspective, doesn't he?

Re: If you're ever feeling a little bit down..
Sorry I'm going to go out on a limb here. (Sorry I didn't mean that pun either, seriously).
I don't see what the fuss is about. I don't see what everyone else sees here. Ok he's limbless, he might use God a crutch (if it works for him, then all's well and good) but other than that, the only thing he can do is either give up with life or accept his disabilities.
To me, he can adapt to most things, he seems to have more of a life than most able people, should I feel sorry for that? Is he in any pain at all? - very doubtful. Is it inspirational?
Yes it is inspirational, but only in the context of accepting what you have and making the most of it. Acceptance can be one of the hardest things when you're used to a certain way of life and that changes, but I don't think this guy knows any different.
I will never understand those that say children (or adults) who are born with illnesses or have disabilities are called 'brave' or 'special' or anything along those lines, they are coping with the hand that's been dealt, nothing more. They tend to get used to pull at the heart strings and make you feel bad about things, maybe give to charity etc. But these people don't feel brave, don't feel special nor want to feel different, they just cope any way they can. Those that take it upon themselves and speak on other's behalf are the ones that make me sick.
Personally, I don't see this guy as special in any way (apart from the crap hand he's been dealt with obviously), he's quite lucky, he's using it to his advantage, but then again that's another thing altogether, if you're fit and healthy you will never understand it.
I won't and can't say that he won't be inspirational to others, the thing is that he's dealing with his life and making the most of it as much as he can. Just like normal fit and able'd people do.
My own opinion only. I find inspiration from much more worthy people than this guy, they can be you friend or neighbour that doesn't have the visual and obvious problems, but may have difficulties that mean a lot more and much harder to live with.

For a very quick reply, someone that deals with cold hard pain on a daily basis is a good place to start. Life with pain is nothing like going fishing, sailing boats, enjoying life with what you have etc etc.
