Re: Identify this caterpillar
Cheers, I have removed the offending caterpillars and dispatched them in a non-humane way.

Re: Identify this caterpillar
I get these on my nasturtiums, left alone they'll munch the lot.

Had to google that
Spen 10 looking through our mature garden and that horseradish plant was the only one with any infestation.

Common enough garden plant, grown from seed and self seed. Leaves can be used in salads, taste peppery.

2nd that, tender young leaves are good to eat. Got to watch out for blackfly however, they just LOVE nasturtiums.

Re: Identify this caterpillar
Part of the Watercress family even the flowers are edible and look lovely in salads. The fresh seeds, when they are still green, can also be used as a substitute for capers.

Thanks Jo, never thought to try the seeds or flowers. Used to leave that to my cockatiel, who absolutely loved them.
