I find Waitrose to be excellent for food and service.
I booked a delivery last week for between 4 - 6pm, I noticed the delivery van parked up at about ten minutes to four, but the driver would not knock my door until 4pm on the dot even though he knew I was there.

Re: Favourite Online Grocery Delivery Service?
I actually go shopping myself so I can choose the quality of the fresh produce & as I live 2 minutes from a Tesco Extra it would be very bone idle & lazy of me to shop online for groceries.

Re: Favourite Online Grocery Delivery Service?
I use Tesco's, as I don't have a car and I like to buy in bulk (A large chest freezer in the garage)
Although their website was semi recently overhauled and now it's a pain in the ass to navigate.

Re: Favourite Online Grocery Delivery Service?
I didn't vote because there isn't an appropriate option for no longer use Home Delivery system.
I've tried Sainsbury, Tesco and Asda but all three have failed to impress me with their fresh produce.
It's my fault I know. I can't really expect an under pressure produce picker to spend a few minutes selecting a honeydew melon like I have been known to do.

Ocado, for the Mobile Apps. I live in a house share and we've all got Android phones.
It means all three of us can do our shopping on the phones when we think of stuff and it all updates between each phone so we all know what we are spending. It's very cool

Same here, would rather go shopping than go for the stuff picked by supermarket staff (they always pick the lowest dated stuff to get it off the shelf)

Re: Favourite Online Grocery Delivery Service?
I usually pick fresh stuff up myself, but for the bulkier heavier items I use Sainsbury's as I don't have a car and have RA, it's well worth it. Staff have always been brilliant too.

Re: Favourite Online Grocery Delivery Service?
I take my mum to do the shopping on Thursdays after work, we go to Tesco and always look carefully at what we by, looking for deals and special offers.
We use Asda on Saturdays for extras, and Sainburys on Wednesday or dinner.
Using online shopping you are just saying what you want, and hope that the picker spots the buy one get one free offers, and picks the better looking fruit & veg.

Re: Favourite Online Grocery Delivery Service?
It is possible to use online shopping without ordering fruit and/or veg.
So far, I would say Sainsbury, but I havent used all of them to compare.
