Car Finance

Hi

I bought a car today, signing a credit agreement. However my parents have offered to pay for it and then I pay them back but without all the interest. Now, do I have to arrange the settlement value or would there be a cooling off period?

Re: Car Finance

I think it could depend on where you signed the agreement. I once did something similar with a well known sofa company and tried to get out the deal the following day, they said because i'd signed on their property I had to take receipt of the goods and pay the finance

They was just playing you and just hoping you wouldn't check up on it, by english law revised in 1987 and re-revised in 2002 all company's that offer finance on any product must allow a cooling off period of 7 days minimum this was extended in 2002 to include all item bought over the internet
