The overtaking manoeuvre that begins 1 minute in is hysterical.

Nice car and nice use of the trafficator.
Loved the

The guy in the red Herald is a perfect role model for BMW drivers.

No tailgating though he did have "a chap right up my exhaust pipe". It must be a public school thing.

When you watch The Professionals or The Sweeney the roads are always really quiet.

I can't tell whether it was a bit of comedy or not. I'll let him know my intention of wanting to overtake by flashing my headlights. I shall now give him a blast of my horn.

Re: London to Bath 1963 (In car camera)
I should show it to my wife. She doesn't believe that is the correct way to make progress on the motorway. But if a posh bloke from the IAM says it's ok, then game on.

It seems like you enjoyed the video Chris.
Always remember to flash your lights or sound your horn if you come across any scallywags on the motorway
Jolly, bloody good show what !!!

Trafficator is generally a term for the semaphore type indicators on older vehicles, I have them on my 1954 Bond Minicar.
I notice the Isetta at 9.28, it looks like it either has a wide mudguard or possibly its the 4 wheel version that were more popular on the continent. The rear wheels were close together and were classed as a tricycle on the continent but not in the UK, so we got the 3 wheel left hand drive and the Brighton built right hand drive models.

I love the part where he overtakes the bus on up the hill and with it being blind an oncoming vehicle appears which of course he fails to mention.
