Re: Vauxhalls to have lifetime warranty

Volvo used to do it for a long time.... they removed it because of the cost though.

The links also states its only available for free to the first owner of a new car... but second hand owners can purchase the warranty... and you must take your car annually to a Vauxhall dealer for a free check-up. However I bet theres little or no grace period in there so if you miss the anniversary date, it invalidates said warranty...

Re: Vauxhalls to have lifetime warranty

Its also only 100,000 miles. Plus you can only do 60,000 in the first 3 years.

That's okay it's a Vauxhall, it'll get nicked and totalled by kids well before you're able to do 60,000 miles

Ive had Vauxhalls for the last 20+ years and no kids have ever stolen them - unlike the only Ford I had.

Re: Vauxhalls to have lifetime warranty

We use Vauxhall Astra's at work and there complete rubbish. They have this stupid 1300 cc diesel that has less pulling power than a spotty little geek on a Friday night.

At least they have decided to go with golfs next.

I agree the 1300cc Diesel is poo in the Astra (down to its weight compared to a Corsa...but still a bit on the pooey side in that).

The golfs are a hoot (even the 1600 TDi is sprightly) so I'm sure you'll enjoy that more...and the standard kit is better
