Stunning image of LA, from Kevin Break

A friend of mine, an LA photographer, has posted a stunning series of images taken at 2am on a rainy night.

You can see more here:

You can also see a video of his TV interview about bridges in LA on the site here - beware bikini photo shoots are contained in this blog so probably NFSW

His house is pretty cool too, they used his kitchen to film a scene in Friends once.

Go for it, I doubt he minds seeing as he put them on Blogspot!

There's actually a weird contrast in that picture: the grass in the foreground which suggests countryside or fields and across the bridge it's all electricity pylons, blinding city lights and skyscrapers.

Re: Stunning image of LA, from Kevin Break

The only thing I don't like from a photography point of view is the light pollution from the orange street lights. Obviously from street level its difficult to avoid but all the buildings lights would have stood out more without it.

The second image is much nicer.

It could have been a creative choice, it's possible to reduce or remove the colour cast in Photoshop, Lightroom or Aperture.

Some nice images nevertheless.
