Go for it, I doubt he minds seeing as he put them on Blogspot!
There's actually a weird contrast in that picture: the grass in the foreground which suggests countryside or fields and across the bridge it's all electricity pylons, blinding city lights and skyscrapers.

The only thing I don't like from a photography point of view is the light pollution from the orange street lights. Obviously from street level its difficult to avoid but all the buildings lights would have stood out more without it.
The second image is much nicer.

It could have been a creative choice, it's possible to reduce or remove the colour cast in Photoshop, Lightroom or Aperture.
Some nice images nevertheless.
