Pimm's o'clock
I've just come home from a friend's house, having been out for the evening trying to avoid the house full of cackling women my wife has had round for a party. I helped myself to a very large glass of Pimm's in the kitchen. Now my head is spinning, and I have just learned that it was mixed with rather more Pimm's and rather less lemonade than is recommended on the label.
Many of you will be aware that I'm a good Christian boy - excess alcohol is not something I'm used to having in my bloodstream. Anyone got any tips?

Heh ... good guess. But I'm afraid it was nothing racier than a Pampered Chef party ... kitchen equipment. I believe we earned a griddle pan, a pizza cutter and a set of knives for holding the do.

Bed ... if only. The hard core is still grimly hanging on in the lounge. And all the odds and ends that were tidied up around the house are now on our bed (our bedroom is next to the lounge). I'm a bit stuck.

Re: Pimm's o'clock
So that's the secret to a good sales pitch..If I ever have a Tupperware party I must remember to go heavy with the booze and be light with the mixers.

Re: Pimm's o'clock
I'm astounded by the amount of booze in this house. And almost all of it was brought by the guests. That bottle of Pimm's, plus a couple of bottles of red wine, was the only grog we supplied. But everyone came armed.

You do seem rather hung up on the Anne Summers thing.I'm too old for crotchless panty parties myself but you should certainly take it up yourself if it floats your boat my dear.

Pimms is alright in its place – but its place is hell!
I'm sure your God will forgive you.
