Re: police car was impaled

Look at the front of the police car, the trim is hanging down, the drove over a rising bollard, damaging the trim first...

Re: police car was impaled

Had these were I live for a few months as the foreign drivers/shop owners don't understand the councils loading/offloading restrictions, however when there trucks got damaged by trying to follow quickly after busses they complained, won and got them switched off, it's always been chaos trying to travel down the high street ever since.
The bollards have been sitting there rusting away laughing at all the thousands of pounds wasted on them.

Must say, for little bump to be in the news, must be a slow day.

Re: police car was impaled

The bollards were installed in my town, and due to 'technical' difficulties it took over 12 months to actually switch them on and have them working correctly.

I have noticed that after a few months novelty factor they always appear to be retracted. these days. (Unless of course they are faulty again)
