i remember when every other car in Grimsby and cleethorpes was a lada
now there is only one extremely rusty one left to my knowledge ,would i buy one ? not a chance they are crap, i hired one once from hire a heap [real name]it was interesting to drive ,i would never wish to try another though .

Somewhere in the middle of Spain, a Lada is driving along and meets a donkey.
The donkey, never having seen a Lada before, asks:"What are you?"

Man buys a Lada but after only one day of ownership returns it to the garage.

I have had 2 Lada's both were given to me and they both just worked, started first time and did everything I asked of them and oddly they were also kind of fun to drive.

As long as you realised that they were more like an early 60's car in driving style which is quite distinct from the cars of the late 70's early 80's then you were alright.

They were free, cheap to run and once the mot ran out they were scrapped.

Volvo's are some of the nicest cars i've been in. Mate used to have a 440 with sports suspension which was fast and fun, his parents had a V40.

An old 850 estate here myself, Auto with cruise control and AC.. drives itself whilst I fall asleep at the wheel!!!
