I hate gardening, but strangely enough, had a very fulfilling day in the garden today.
Mowed/edged the lawn, cuprinoled the shed and 4 8x5 fence panels (two coats), and general weeding/tidying up.
Nice cold beer in hand, then a nice hot bath to relax the muscles (with a glass of red and a good book) - life is good.
And my daughter has finally caught her flight from Dubai, and lands at Heathrow at 10pm tonight, and I booked her in a hotel nearby overnight, then she travels up tomorrow (getting a lift from her boyfriend's parents, who have kindly driven down to pick them both up) - looking forward to seeing her tomorrow afternoon.

Got some nice Asics running shoes from the Sports Direct.com shop in town. £35, and hopefully no more injuries due to dodgy shoes!
