Rabbits v Cats
I'm currently looking after my sisters and her kids pet rabbit.
The garden is walled and he's happy sitting in the sun or running about jumping.
Next door have a ginger cat (think it male) it has often checked out his hutch.
How safe is the rabbit if he was roaming the garden if the cat got to close, I know the rabbit can kick and I've heard him thumb the ground in a warning to us.
I have a water pistol which i have been told to use if the cat get to close.

Re: Rabbits v Cats
It depends on how big and ambitious the cat it is (and how big the rabbit is for that matter)
We live in the country side and we have a large black & White tom.
He has killed and brought in a decent sized rabbit. Only once. He's also brought in a large grey squirrel and a mole.
Everything else he eats. You usually find nothing but the odd feather or sometimes a mouses nose.

Usless he works out how to climb a 5ft brick wall he ain't going any were, unless he starts to dig they have to look at that.
