Out of Control Children

Isnt it a wonder that there are so many idiots on the streets now when Parents cant be bothered to correct their kids...

I was in the post office earlier on an there was a large line of people and a woman id say in her mid 20s joined the queue looked a chav to be honest and she had a young girl in the pram.

This kid started throwing things at people and then started to shout F*** OFF on top of her voice and the mother just stood there grinning doing absolutly nothing while everyone else was astonished at the kids behaviour.

In my opinion Social Services dont have enough powers for this kind of thing. If a kid as young as that is reported to them for behaviour like that and the parents are not prepared to tackle it then someone else must and phaps this country would have half the morons on the street when they grow up!

Welcome to the next generation. we saw it coming but said they're just children being children.

and people making excuses for their behaviour. ^^^^

I agree ,these days too many people will stand back looking horrified but do nothing when that sort of thing happens ,having said that how much verbal abuse would the mother have given anyone if they had complained ?

i hardly think she would have just stood there grinning if it was tourettes she would try appologising so people didnt think she was a bad parent while this one didnt seem to care.

in my opinion one of the post office staff should have asked her to either control the child of leave as it was upsetting everyone else and they would have been well within their right to have done so.

absolutely they should have ,i certainly would have ,and i wouldn't have been bothered about getting any lip of the mother either

even better i happen to know someone with a form of tourettes so i know how it affects their lives. Although their form isnt one where they swear they make involuntry verbal noises that can scare people and i can assure you they never get tired of appologising and neither does the parents when they r kids.

Which sounds to me like you made up your mind about her the moment you saw her. Whatever the socially accepted description of a 'chav' might be, it does not automatically mean that a parent who has little control over their children is one.
